I came to Jit Sin High School in December 1995. My first posting as a non-graduate teacher was in 1979. After graduating from Malayan Teachers’ College (MTC), I was posted and taught in my home state, Terengganu, for 5 years. Then I furthered study in USM for 4 years. After graduating, I was posted to serve in Tanjung Piandang, Perak for 2 years. After that, I got my transfer to teach in Penang island for 6 years.
During this period, I developed interest in computer. I took advantage of the convenience of staying near USM and pursued Post Graduate Diploma and Master Degree in computer studies.
Finally, I decided to settle down in Bukit Mertajam and hence asked for the transfer to Jit Sin. With the recommendation from the former Principal, Mr Hwong Seng, I was posted to Jit Sin and has been serving in this school since then.
It is in Jit Sin that my knowledge in computer is put to good use. With the tremendous support under the leadership of past and present principals and the guidance of Mr Ng Kim Hong, former ICT Section Head, various ICT courses, projects and facilities were implemented.
